Loving Wife of John "Goot" Taylor 

June Johnston Taylor, 77, of Florence, SC, died on Sunday, December 21, 2014, at McLeod Hospice House. She was born in Dale, SC, a daughter of the late James David and Lucille Nix Johnston. June was a graduate of Myrtle Beach High School and was crowned the 1953 Jr. Miss Myrtle Beach. She was a substitute teacher in Florence District I. She was a member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Florence, SC. She is survived by her husband, John B. Taylor, Jr.; four daughters, Debbie Taylor (Maurice) Weaver, Sherrie (Randy) Hyler, both of Florence, Michelle (Larry) Lucas of Irmo, and Mary Ann (Kevin) Smith of Atlanta; three sons, James (Jamie) Taylor of Atlanta, Bruce (Teresa) Taylor of Columbia and Jay (April) Taylor of Florence; two brothers, James D. (Jodi) Johnston of Houston, TX, and Michael E. Johnston of Florence; and one sister, Ginger (Phil) White of Nashville, TN; thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Friday, December 26, 2014, at Cain Funeral Home, 512 2nd Loop Road, Florence, SC. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 28, 2014, at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1215 Alligator Road, Florence, SC.An online condolences page can be found at www.cainfuneralhome.com.

Mike and I and Mickey Henry attended the family visitation for June Taylor (wife of Goot Taylor) in Florence this evening. Many people were there to show their love and respect for both June and Goot.
