Mary Lorraine Taylor 91 passed away Tuesday, August 04, 2015

She was born in Myrtle Beach, December 27, 1923, a daughter of the late Joseph Brevard Stalvey and Ada Vera Owens Stalvey. Lorraine was pre-deceased by her husband, Jimmy Taylor, her son, Herbert Lavon Taylor, three brothers, LeRoy, Billy Ray and Franklin Stalvey; her sister, Lola Virgil Stalvey.

Lorraine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and loved all her family members. She was a wonderful cook, an avid sports fan, and a life member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She is survived by her three sons, Joseph Ronald Taylor and wife Millie, Steve Boyd Taylor and wife Sarah, James H. “Nook” Taylor and wife Dorothea, her brother, Clinton Stalvey: seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, August 7, 2015 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM until 10:40 AM. The dedication of the grave and burial will follow at Ocean Woods Memorial Cemetery.
