Obituary for Adah Marie Creque

Adah Marie Creque, 64, of Columbia, died Monday, February 12, 2018. Born in Annapolis, MD, on January 7, 1954, she was a daughter of Edna Hanna Creque and the late Robert Edward Creque. Marie graduated from Myrtle Beach High School and the University of South Carolina. She went on to pursue a career in information technology and served as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at United Way of South Carolina until her retirement. 

In addition to her mother, survivors include her sister, Vera Creque; as well as numerous cousins. 

The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 o’clock, Thursday, February 15th at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia. The service will follow at 2:30 o’clock, at Windsor United Methodist Church, 9500 Windsor Lake Blvd, Columbia, with the Rev. Steve D. Gaither officiating.
