Grover, I have a 1949 annual from MBHS Labeled  "White  Caps" I also have a 1950 MBHS annual labeled Seahawks The 1949 Class started their Senior year in the newly opened MBHS  Prior to that students were scattered all over town. Our school burned down and I personally went to school in the old USO building and the old Seaside INN, I was a freshman in the 48-49 school year.  John Taylor

 
The site your sister sent has some well  known graduates from  MBHS one is Sigmund Abeles We played together in grade school but in High School he went into arts and I went into sports We both graduated from MBHS in 1952  I went to USC and he went to Columbia Univ in NY City. The summer before the Soph  year he called me and wanted to if he could room [with me  So we were roommates our Soph and Jr years My senior year I was married and lived off campus with my wife. In my senior year first semester I saw Sig on campus and told him I  had enough hours and grades to Graduate In December and finishing my Degree a semester  early  Thus finish in 3.5 years,  he told me he only need one course beyond the fall semester and that he was going to partition to take French 42 (yr 4 second semester.) HE did and we both finished the same year.
