John Tyrone Montgomery
John Tyrone "John T" Montgomery, age 71, died Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at Conway Manor.


A native of Myrtle Beach, Mr. Montgomery was the son of the late Robert and Thelma Montgomery. He served proudly in the US Army and was an avid golfer and coin collector. A self taught musician, Mr. Montgomery loved to play the piano and guitar. He was a wonderful son and brother whose knowledge of local history was limitless. In addition to his parents, Mr. Montgomery is predeceased by his brother, Bobby and his sister Bonnie.
Survivors include his loving sister, Elizabeth Betty (Robert) Taber, Longs; nieces and nephews, Bethany; Brenna; Michael; Jason; Chris; and several cousins.
 

A funeral service will be held 12:00 PM, Monday, December 29, 2014 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel. The family will receive friends 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Monday, December 29, 2014 at the funeral home.
