William Chappell Richardson age 68, died Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at his residence. Born in Conway, SC, he was a son of the late Marion "Dubba" Chappell and Virginia Gresham Richardson. Mr. Richardson was a U.S. Army Reserve veteran. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Jennie Richardson of Myrtle Beach; a son, Michael Chappell of Mt. Pleasant, SC; a daughter Julia Russell of Columbia, SC and a sister, Carolyn Evans of Mt. Pleasant. The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM until 12:30 PM Friday, September 27, 2013 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel. I knew Billy and his sister Carolyn. They were both very good friends and very fine athletic former classmates. I am sure he will be truly missed by all of his family and all who had the priviledge of knowing him. Please accept my condolences and prayers for all of his family members.
