Patricia Ann Beck, 71, passed away surrounded by her family at Carolina's Medical Center in Pineville, NC at 2:19 pm on March 13, 2013.

Patricia was born in Portsmouth, VA, daughter of the late Archie Herbert and Edith Martin Hucks. She spent most of her life in Myrtle Beach.

Patricia spent the last 10 years battling Scleroderma yet embraced life and lived each day to its fullest.

She is survived by her son Mark Joseph Taylor and his partner Anthony Lear of Charlotte NC; daughter, Kimberly Taylor Blenckstone and her husband David and their children Adam and Taylor of Hagerstown, MD; son, Kenneth Joseph Taylor of Myrtle Beach, SC; brother, Herbie Hucks of Lexington, SC; three sisters, Brenda Myers of Spartanburg SC, Tammy Hucks of Rock Hill, SC and Pammy Hucks of Myrtle Beach, SC.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5:30 PM, Saturday, March 16, 2013 at McMillan-Small Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 5:30 PM. Casual dress requested by the family.
